Let us pray.
O Lord Jesus Christ, glory of the Heavenly Father and light of souls, we beseech Thee with confidence that, as we make our way amidst the shadows of this world, the splendor of Thy Face may shine upon us, that in the light of Thy Countenance, we may at length merit to contemplate the eternal light
in which Thou livest and reignest with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, forever and ever. Amen.
