“This video shows where guided tours of St. Therese’s childhood home in Lisieux, Les Buissonets, begin. This little room was once the kitchen and was remodeled somewhat after the family left. Seen at the beginning of the video is a small painting that Celine made of Les Buissonets as it was during Therese’s day. Also seen is a small metal table in a corner that belonged to Therese and she would take it out into the garden in back of the house. There is no longer a direct entrance to the dining room and visitors are obliged to look through a glass window to see it.
St. Therese lived in this house from November 1877 until her entrance into the Carmelite convent in 1888.
The soundtrack that is playing is the original one used at the house for visitors and exists in a number of different languages.”
